My husband and I were planning a trip to the beach in August. Our children are 1,4 and 5 We live in Ohio. They believed in Myrtle Beach, but it's still a lot of different areas. Any input would be great! Thank you!

Myrtle Beach could be good, as in Ocean City, Maryland. I also like the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where you can rent a beach house and a wonderful holiday.
Try Iceland Sanibel in Florida, great beaches, you can bike around the island, and can be very useful if you rent an apartment. We went on last month and rented a private apartment, which I recommend. The apartment is 2 bedrooms and beautiful, right on the beach. See how you hooked!
I'm heading to Monterey, California. You do not have to fly to San Jose, rent a car and drive there (about 90 minutes), but it's really nice and do tons for kids to connect, without anywhere to go websites.
